The Pereira Sisters & Sweet Innovation
The farm’s story is as beautiful as the cup. After their father passed, the sisters chose unity over division — renaming the farm Irmãs Pereira (The Pereira Sisters). With support from their family and CarmoCoffees, they’ve led innovation in soil health, pruning, and fermentation.
Sweet-fermented natural processed cherries are soaked overnight in cold water to slow down fermentation, then dried for 14+ days on raised African beds. The result is a cup that’s clean, fruity and incredibly moreish.
